A Dillon man pleaded guilty to murder and armed robbery this morning in the shooting death of an Aynor man in 2008.
Charles Andrew Skipper, 28, pleaded guilty to murder and armed robbery this morning before his trial was scheduled to begin and will be sentenced after he testifies against the other defendant, Crystal Turner, 30, of Marion.
Skipper, who said he had never met Ronald Rabon of Aynor, admitted in an Horry County court this morning that he shot Rabon.
Police say Skipper, Turner and two others drove Rabon to an area along Tobacco Leaf Lane, took his wallet, money and cell phone and shot him. Garbage truck drivers found Rabon’s body on Aug. 14, 2008.
