A 23-year-old Myrtle Beach man told police he was attacked by a group of 11 men and beaten, according to a police report.
The man said he was walking through Futrell Park about 11 p.m. Saturday when the men yelled out to him and then started hitting him, police said. The man said the suspects chased him down the street before he got away.
The man had swelling to his cheek and redness around his eye, according to the report. The man told police he didn’t want medical treatment and left the area before he was interviewed by a detective.
