A 49-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with an incident involving indecent exposure of a child, according to an incident report from the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office.
Teresa Brown, of Boiling Springs, has been charged with indecent exposure (overtly sexual) after she was seen taking pictures of a 7-year-old girl on the beach in North Litchfield.
The incident occurred Saturday when a witness told police that she had been on the beach watching Brown take pictures of the child, the report stated. She said she saw the girl pull down her bottoms and that Brown began taking pictures. She then saw Brown place the girl in more provocative positions and took pictures.
A Sheriff's deputy, who responded to the scene, also saw Brown through binoculars take a picture of the child with her buttocks in the air, bending over a small chair, the report stated. The deputy and another deputy on scene then saw the girl pull her bottoms down in the surf and Brown began taking pictures of her.

The deputies then approached Brown and told her why they were there. Brown, according to the report, became defensive and offered to let the deputies look at her camera. She told them that she was in a photography class and that the girl was a super model.
One of the deputies found a picture of the child on Brown's camera where the girl has her back to the camera bending over at the waist with her head between her legs. She takes her left hand and pulls her bottoms to the side exposing part of herself, according to the report.
Brown was taken to the Georgetown County Detention Center.
