A 40-year-old Myrtle Beach woman was indicted on a prostitution charge after she was arrested in May during an undercover police operation near 24th Avenue South, according to records.
Joan Currie Hussey was indicted for prostitution for agreeing to perform a sexual act for $40 on May 25, according to the grand jury indictments released this week.
At the time of her arrest, the officer wrote in the report that Hussey was walking near 24th Avenue South when he stopped and she got into his vehicle, according to a report. The officer wrote that Hussey agreed to the sexual act and he gave the signal for a uniformed police officer to stop the vehicle and arrest her.
