A Myrtle Beach man told police he was assaulted by three men as he walked in the area of North King Street and Rainbow Avenue, according to a police report.
The 56-year-old man told police the suspects hit him in the head before they ran away, police said. The man said he thought the attack was gang related because the suspects wore red bandanas around their faces, but police did not find any evidence of it.
The man was taken to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center for a minor cut to his head, according to the report. Officers did not find the suspects in the area and the man later said he didn’t want the police involved.
