Fourteen people have been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in Socastee that occurred on Aug. 21.
Today at around 2 p.m., the last suspect wanted in connection with the homicide was arrested, according to Sgt. Robert Kegler with the Horry County Police Department.
Stanton William Squires, 19, of Aynor, was arrested and charged with murder for the death of 28-year-old Sylvester Smart.
Squires is the third person charged with murder in the shooting.
Alex Lorenzo Robinson, 28, of Conway, and George Everette Gray, 28, of Conway, have also been charged with murder.
Robinson is also facing burglary charges.
Horry County detectives found that after the shooting, several people began stealing drugs and weapons.
Maura Rhea Bomar, 22, of Myrtle Beach and Michael David Walling, 32, of Galivants Ferry, have been charged with accessory after the fact of a felony (burglary 1st degree).
Antoine Lamont Lance, 30, of Pawleys Island; Michael Rogers, 23, of Pawleys Island; Ashley Janay Pearl, 19, of Myrtle Beach and Shana Renea Green, 26, of Myrtle Beach; have been charged with trafficking cocaine, trafficking MDMA or ecstasy.
Detectives also learned of several additional people involved in the incident.
Savannah Michelle Griffin, 19, of Myrtle Beach; Russell Dale Griffin, 21, of Myrtle Beach; Alexandrea Nichole Jackson, 18, of Myrtle Beach; Dalton Wade Morrow, 19, of Myrtle Beach and Tina L. Harper, 27, of Myrtle Beach, have been charged with accessory after the fact of a felony (murder).
