A Kentucky man was arrested by Myrtle Beach police without incident after officers learned he was staying at an Ocean Boulevard motel, according to a police report.
Jessie Dale Parke, 22, of Summer Shade, Ky., was arrested about 6:40 p.m. Monday as being a fugitive from justice at the Westgate Oceanfront Resort at 415 S. Ocean Blvd., police said.
Parke was wanted by Summer Shade authorities on charges of homicide, arson to destroy evidence and burglary, according to the report. Details about the homicide and circumstances leading to the charges were not immediately available.
Parke was staying in the room with his wife and police seized a knife from their vehicle.
