An 18-year-old man has been charged in connection with a hit-and-run crash that injured a teen in Georgetown County, said Cpl. Paul Brouthers with the S.C. Highway Patrol.
Thomas Gallagher of Pawleys Island turned himself in today to state troopers investigating the collision from Saturday night on Litchfield Road, Brouthers said. Gallagher has been charged with one count of leaving the scene of a collision with personal injury.
The crash is still under investigation.
Earlier today police were looking for a white in color Ford Taurus or Mercury Sable that they believed was involved in the hit-and-run.
