A 36-year-old Myrtle Beach man told police an acquaintance punched out the window in his vehicle and hit him in the face several times in a dispute about money, according to a police report.
The man told police he dropped off a woman in the 500 block of 30th Avenue North at 4:30 a.m. Sunday and the suspect came up to his vehicle, police said.
The man said the suspect punched the driver’s window until it broke and then punched the man in the face several times before he was able to drive away, according to the report. The man drove to the police department parking lot and called police.
The man said the suspect thinks he owes him money, according to the report. The man was taken to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center for treatment of several cuts to his face. Police searched for the suspect.
