Brad Redding's Weekly Golf Tip (Aug. 17)

The other hand (Part II)

How the back hand (right hand) works is significant in a pitch shot. The right needs to be on the grip to again allow the wrists to cock. With a Sharpie marker draw two dots on your hand as in the photograph and then draw two dots on the side of your lead (left) thumb as in the photograph. Now connect the dots. Now your hands are on the club correctly to allow your wrist to work correctly. Use this grip for ALL shots when swinging the club. As discussed, the putting grip is different.
