Myrtle Beach police arrested a man wanted in Virginia for probation violations related to grand larceny, according to a police report.
Marty Thomas McKnight, 30, was arrested about 10:30 a.m. Monday after officers went to a room at the Majestic Shore at 2609 S. Ocean Blvd., after the got a tip about him living there, police said.
McKnight was taken into custody without incident and police learned he was wanted in Lee County, Va., for probation violations in Jonesville, Va., according to the report. McKnight was on probation for grand larceny and has active grand jury indictments for breaking and entering and grand larceny.
