A North Carolina man told Myrtle Beach police a man he met in his motel hallway pointed a gun at him, threatened him and called him a “snitch,” according to a police report.
The 35-year-old man from Raeford, N.C., told police he was at the Beachside Motel about 12:40 a.m. Sunday when he saw a man and asked for directions to the stairs, police said.
The man said the suspect pulled out a gun and threatened him before he was able to run to the second floor, but the suspect followed him, according to the report. The man said he ran into his room and called police.
Officers tried to find the suspect in the area, but were not successful.
