A Myrtle Beach woman told police she was stabbed with a pocket knife by a woman who was in her front yard arguing with a man, according to a police report.
The 20-year-old woman told police about 6:30 a.m. Saturday she heard people screaming in her front yard in the 200 block of South Myrtle Street, police said. A woman had a pocket knife when the victim approached her and a man.
The woman said she had hoped to calm the couple down, but the woman stabbed the victim in her thigh with the knife, according to the report. The woman said the suspects ran down the street after the incident.
The woman went back in the house and woke another woman up to go to the hospital, according to the report. Police seized the knife and are investigating the incident.
