Two Little River men told Myrtle Beach police they were jumped from behind and assaulted along Eighth Avenue North, according to a police report.
The men, ages 27 and 30, told police that about 2:30 a.m. Monday they wee jumped from behind and hit several times by five men as they stood in the 500 block of Eighth Avenue North, police said.
The men said the suspects punched them in the face and they fought back before the suspects ran away, according to the report. The men suffered injuries to their hands and one had visible injuries to his face. Both men declined medical treatment by EMS.
