Man reports being threatened by armed man in a Myrtle Beach parking lot

A 37-year-old man told police a man threatened him with a handgun in a Myrtle Beach parking lot, according to a police report.

The Myrtle Beach man said about 3:20 a.m. Sunday he was in a parking lot in the 1400 block of Cannon Road when the suspect pulled in and said something about the tow time, police said.

The man said the suspect pulled out a pistol and threatened to kill him before the suspect drove away, according to the report. The man told police he’d seen the suspect around the restaurant that his boss owns.

Police searched for the suspect, but did not find him in the area.
