A 38-year-old Myrtle Beach man told police two men assaulted him and stole his wallet as he walked to work, according to a police report.
The man said he was walking about 6 a.m. Sunday in the area of Chester Street near 16th Avenue north when a man ran up to him and punched him in the face, police said. Another man ran up to the victim, grabbed him from behind, twisted his arm and took his wallet.
The man said both men ran away after the incident and he walked to work and called police, according to the report. Police searched the area, but did not locate the suspects.
