A 26-year-old told police he was jumped by two men while he talked to a woman along a Myrtle Beach street, according to a police report.
The Myrtle Beach man was intoxicated and not cooperative with police, but said he was assaulted by two men about 3:30 a.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of Pinegrove Lane, police said.
The man said he was walking when he met the woman and stopped to talk with her, according to the report. The man said two men drove up, got out of the vehicle and assaulted him.
The man suffered a deep cut to his hand and minor cuts to his face, according to the report. The man’s brother took him to a nearby hospital for treatment.
