A lot of golfers confuse a pitch shot with a chip shot. Like I covered in the last series, a chip shot is a low running shot. It lands on the front part of the green and rolls to the hole. A pitch shot is a high, lofted shot that lands closer to the hole and doesn't roll very much, in fact it may even "check up" and not roll at all. Don't confuse these as they are very different results and so the techniques are very different. The key to a pitch shot is that it is just a smaller version of your full swing with some small changes at address.
