An Ohio man told police a 26-year-old woman assaulted him after they argued about her drinking too much at dinner, according to a Myrtle Beach police report.
Sarah Elizabeth Boyer, 26, of Zanesville, Ohio, was charged with criminal domestic violence, police said.
The 29-year-old man from Pleasant City, Ohio told police the woman hit him in the face several times before he picked her up and carried her out of their hotel room and locked the door, according to the report. The incident occurred about 10:45 p.m. Wednesday at the Summer Wind Motel located at 1903 S. Ocean Blvd.
The woman told police they got into an argument and the man was verbally abusive toward her and she got mad and hit him, according to the report. The man had a cut to his hand and there were no signs of injury to the woman, police said.
