Armed man robs Myrtle Beach business

A man armed with a gun robbed a Myrtle Beach business Tuesday evening, according to a police report.

Officers were called at 6 p.m. Tuesday to the Check-N-Go at 612 S. Kings Highway for an armed robbery, police said.

An employee of the business told police a man came into the office, pointed a handgun at her and demanded money, according to the report. The woman gave the man cash and he ran from the store.

Police seized video surveillance of the incident and looked for the man in the area, but did not locate him. The woman was not hurt during the incident.
