Myrtle Beach police investigate robbery, shooting

A 38-year-old Myrtle Beach man was shot in the hand and robbed by two men who came into his house early Wednesday, according to a police report.

The man called police at 730 a.m. Wednesday to report two men came in through his backdoor that was unlocked and confronted him with a handgun, police said.

The man, who lives in the 600 block of 63rd Avenue North, told police the men demanded his money before the man with the gun shot him.

The man said the suspects wore masks and fled the apartment before police arrived.
