Myrtle Beach man reports being robbed inside his home

A Myrtle Beach man told police he woke up to a man in his house who robbed him, according to a police report.

The 22-year-old man told police the robber came into his apartment on North Second Avenue at 5:30 a.m. Saturday and demanded his money, police said. The man said he thought the robber had a gun by the way he had his hand in his shirt.

The man said he gave the robber his wallet, a digital music player and a camera before the robber ran out of the front door, according to the report. The door was not locked at the time of the incident.

The man’s roommate told police he heard a noise and saw his friend on the ground with his hands in the air and the robber demanding money.
