A 14-year-old North Carolina boy told Myrtle Beach police he was punched in the face and his cell phone stolen while he was at Broadway at the Beach, according to a police report.
The teen from Summerfield, N.C., told police he was walking near the Imax Discovery Theater about 10:45 p.m. Sunday when a group of men walked up to him and one man punched him in the face, police said.
The teen said his phone was knocked out of his hand and one of the men picked it up as he ran from the group, according to the report. The teen had redness around his eye and police did not locate the suspects in the area.
