A 24-year-old Horry County man told Myrtle Beach police he was jumped by several people while at Broadway at the Beach, but he refused to give police more details, according to a police report.
The man, who lives in Socastee, told police he was jumped about 3:30 a.m. Thursday while in the parking lot of Broadway at the Beach, police said. The man had blood covering both his hands, so another man who was with him wrote a statement for police. The man also suffered cuts to his eye and lip.
The man refused medical treatment and told police he wanted to go home, according to the report. The man's friend told police the man got into a fight and ended up on the ground. The men got in a cab and left.
