A 26-year-old man was sentenced to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to a charge related to a young child’s death.
Prosecutors said Jason Marshall, pleaded guilty to inflicting great bodily harm upon a child, a charge stemming from an incident in December 2008 that involved Marshall causing serious injury to a 3-year-old girl that resulted in her death.
The maximum sentence for the charge is 20 years in prison with no parole.
