A Georgia man told police he was assaulted while out with friends at Broadway at the Beach, according to a police report.
The 22-year-old man from Cumming, Ga., told police a man came up to him, shouted obscenities and then pushed and punched him at 2:45 a.m. Tuesday, police said.
The man said he stepped back and a second man ran up to him and punched him in the face, which caused a cut above his eye, according to the report. Both men ran away after the assault.
A security guard, who witnessed the incident, told police he saw the men punch the victim and then run toward U.S. 17 Bypass after the incident, according to the report. Police were not able to locate the suspects in the area and officers obtained security video of the incident.
