The Sheriff’s Office professional standards division investigated the crash and determined Deputy Andrew Lentz did not violate any traffic laws or departmental policies in the incident, Stanley said.
Lentz was on duty driving a county vehicle at 9:15 p.m. Wednesday when the car crashed with the teen, who was riding a bicycle along Danford Road, Stanley said.
