Police: Myrtle Beach man arrested for chasing woman through Burger King parking lot

A Myrtle Beach man was arrested after his girlfriend told police he chased her through a restaurant parking lot and kicked her door, according to a police report.

Adam L. Jarrett, 20, was charged with criminal domestic violence, breach of peace and disorderly conduct after officers were called to the Burger King at 501 S. Kings Highway, police said.

Officers found the 27-year-old woman inside the business, and she told police she called Jarrett when she got off work to get her car keys, according to the report. The woman said Jarrett yelled at her before he chased her through the parking lot. A friend of the woman’s stopped Jarrett and she ran inside the restaurant.

When police approached Jarrett, the officer wrote in his report he saw Jarrett kicking the woman’s door. The couple have dated for about three months.
