The man walked into the store and waited a while in the pharmacy section until some customers left, police said. Two employees asked the man if he needed assistance and he told them he was waiting on a prescription.
The man then gave the pharmacist the note demanded the drugs and pulled up his shirt to reveal the handgun, according to the report. The suspect demanded the other employees keep their hands on the counter during the incident.
The man walked out of the store, but employees were not sure if the man ran away or left in a vehicle.
