Horry County grand jury indicts area residents on assault, robbery charges

An Horry County grand jury returned indictments against several area residents on charges that range from kidnapping, armed robbery to assault, according to court records.

Here is a listing of some of the people indicted and their charges according to the indictments released Tuesday:

Arkie Eljawa Brown, 26, of Myrtle Beach, indicted for assault and battery with intent to kill that stemmed from an incident on Feb. 5 in which the victim reported being choked.

Reynaldo Pena Jr., 32, of Longs, indicted for chop shop after being arrested on Jan. 8.

Donald Joseph Taylor, 44, of Taylors, indicted for assault and battery with intent to kill for an incident that occurred March 26.

Tyler Chandlier Campbell, 24, of Conway, indicted for criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature, kidnapping and malicious injury to personal property for an incident that occurred March 18.

Markeith Dewayne Fisher, 25, and Maurice Jackson, 20, both of Myrtle Beach, indicted for kidnapping, armed robbery, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime and failure to stop for a blue light for an incident that occurred on April 25 and involved a driver with Cool Breeze Taxi, who reported being robbed at gunpoint.

Brian M. Powell, 42, of Loris, indicted for armed robbery and assault and battery with intent to kill for an incident that occurred on Nov. 6, 2009, in which a Domino’s pizza delivery person reported being robbed at gunpoint.

Casey Denis Earl, 26, of Conway, indicted for assault and battery with intent to kill for an incident that occurred May 7 involving a woman.

Timothy Dale Baker Jr., 23, of Conway, indicted on two counts of felony driving under the influence with great bodily injury for an incident that occurred on April 22.
