Authorities in Brunswick County, N.C., are searching for someone who tried to enter a locked business after hours, according to Sgt. April Stanley with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office.
Police were called about 9 p.m. Tuesday to the Dollar General at 1745 Southport-Supply Road when someone tried to enter the store after employees closed it for the evening, Stanley said.
The suspect, who wore dark clothing and a mask, fled from the business when the clerk inside the store saw the person, Stanley said.
