A 48-year-old Myrtle Beach man called police after he found a counterfeit $20 bill on the ground outside an Ocean Boulevard hotel, according to a police report.
The man told police he was in the pool area of the Sea Crest at 803 South Ocean Blvd., at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday when he found the fake $20 bill, police said.
The man said he called police as soon as he found the bill, according to the report. Police noted the bill was printed on regular paper and the sides were glued together. Officers seized the bill.
