Horry County police arrested a Surfside Beach man on charged he burglarized a condominium in the Arrowhead subdivision, according to Sgt. Robert Kegler.
Michael Paul McCracken, 26, was charged with first-degree burglary and possession of burglary tools about 12:30 a.m. today, Kegler said. McCracken is being held at J. Reuben Long Detention Center pending a bond hearing.
Horry County police were called to a home on Riverwalk Drive for a burglary in progress with someone removing items from the unit while the occupants were not there, Kegler said. Police were given a description of the suspect vehicle and located it inside the subdivision.
Inside the vehicle, officers found a flat screen television, several DVD movies and jewelry, which were reported missing from the condo, Kegler said.
