A Myrtle Beach couple were arrested for failing to pay their taxi cab fare after the driver took them to the police department, according to a police report.
Holly Dawn Youmans, 21, and Dominick Kenny, 21, were each charged with defraud of taxi cab fare after the driver of East Coast Taxi picked them up from Broadway at the Beach, where Kenny was charged with trespassing and ordered to leave, police said.
The driver told police he drove the couple to a local hotel and to Broadway at the Beach and then to an apartment complex before they told him they did not have any money to pay the $45 fare, according to the report. The driver took the couple to the police department where Youmans also was charged with public intoxication because she yelled at jailers about a Little River man who was arrested earlier.
