Jamar Miller, 19, and Gregory Kevin Foster, 18, both of Winston-Salem, N.C., were each charged with robbery after officers were flagged down by a 19-year-old man from Pacolet and a 24-year-old Spartanburg woman in the 400 block of Flagg Street, police said.
The couple told police the men, who were walking away from the area, had robbed them and police detained the men, according to the report. The man told police the suspects along with six other men approached him and his girlfriend and asked if they wanted to purchase drugs.
The man said when the couple declined one of the men demanded his money and held him by his head while another man took $30 cash from his pocket, according to the report. The woman told police one of the suspects held her against a wall to keep her from helping her boyfriend.
