Myrtle Beach police are investigating counterfeit money being used at a local building, according to a police report.
Police were called to Senor Frog's at 1304 Celerity Circle after a 25-year-old Flushing, N.Y., man used two $20 bills to pay for his bill, police said.
Employees checked the bills and found they were counterfeit, so the man used other cash to pay for the bill, according to the report. The man told police he was on vacation and got the cash before he left so he did not have to use his credit card.
Police seized the bills, which did not have watermarks and were not reflective.
