The Bi-Lo in Socastee reopened for business Friday afternoon after a fire at the store early Friday morning, according to Bi-Lo officials.
Bi-Lo officials said in a news release Friday afternoon that the store located on Dick Pond Road in Socastee was reopened for business with limited offerings in the produce and deli/bakery departments.
Fire investigators said Friday afternoon that the fire was "unintentional" and likely was due to a light fixture above the greeting card aisle, said Leslie Yancey, public information officer with Horry County Fire Rescue.
Firefighters quickly contained the fire after they were called at 2:29 a.m. Friday to the store after employees in the 24-hour store saw fire in the greeting card isle, Yancey said.

Employees and customers were evacuated from the store and no one was injured, Yancey said.
Firefighters were aided by the store's sprinkler system in quickly containing the fire, she said. Nine units responded, and Myrtle Beach firefighters provided mutual aid.
Firefighters remained at the scene into Friday morning because of extensive smoke in the building.
Store officials had been working with police and fire departments on the investigation into the cause of the fire.
