Brunswick County sheriff's officers have arrested a Leland, N.C., man on breaking and entering charges and are searching for another man involved in the incident.
A home off of Shady Hill Lane in Leland was broken into last week and more than $8,000 of property was stolen, according to a statement from the Sheriff's Office. Detectives recovered almost $2,000 of the stolen property and continue to try to find the rest.
Christopher Lanier of Leland was arrested May 13 and released the next day after making bail of $20,000.
The Sheriff's Office is searching for Bradley Jarman of Lincoln, N.C., who has also been charged in the incident. The Sheriff's Office asks anyone who sees or knows where Jarman is to call detective Mike Murray or Justin Stadler at 910-253-2777.
