Police investigate weekend stabbing at Myrtle Beach apartment

A 27-year-old Myrtle Beach man was stabbed when he fought with another inside an apartment during the weekend, according to a police report.

The 27-year-old man was stabbed about 12:30 a.m. Saturday in an apartment in the 700 block of Second Avenue, police said.

A witness told police that the man and suspect fought inside the kitchen because they do not get along and the suspect pulled a knife from the waistband of his pants and stabbed the victim, according to the report. The suspect, a 37-year-old Myrtle Beach man, ran out the apartment door and was gone when police arrived.
