On The Toe
The last piece of information in the set up is that the shaft should be more upright with the toe sitting on the ground. This allows you to make your stroke work in a slight arc. The club that has the most arc in a golf swing is the driver - we want to go as fast as possible. If you get the shaft more upright it has less of an arc so it would not travel as fast, but it could be more accurate. To get the shaft more upright you will need to grip down on the club. Again this will aid in the accuracy of your shots because you have more control of the club.
