Coastal Uncorked Schedule of Events

5/14 – Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament Royal Event for Coastal Uncorked 2010: Guests for Coastal Uncorked 2010 please mention this code: CUC10 to receive the following special prices: $38 per adult and $26.50 per child. Doors open at 4:30pm and the show begins at 6pm.

5/16-5/23 - Restaurant Week. Various Times and Locations. Area restaurants will feature three course tasting menus throughout the week for $20.10 per person.

5/16 - Myrtle Beach Pelicans Game & Picnic. Enjoy a Myrtle Beach Pelicans Game & Hot Dog Picnic in the picnic area. All you can eat picnic featuring gourmet hotdogs. 3:05 p.m. game is a family fun day with catch on the field prior to the game.

Turn your fruits & vegetables into works of art. Adorn your special occasion table setting with flair. Executive Chef Eric Wagner will dazzle you with his skills by creating beautiful garnishes using a variety of ordinary vegetables and fruit. $10

Why do some foods create feelings of love? Observe Executive Chef Eric Wagner craft some irresistible dishes and discuss cooking for love. Savor samples of these dishes and go away with recipes to enhance your love life. Ages 18+. $39

5/19 - Coastal Uncorked Golf Tournament, Pine Lakes Country Club. Sponsored by The Sun News. Shotgun Start at 1 p.m. Participants will enjoy tastings from local restaurants and special beers throughout the day on the course with an awards reception in the clubhouse immediately following the tournament. $125/player includes tastings, golf, and goodie bag.

On Friday & Saturday from noon to 5 pm, the Tasting Trolley will take Coastal Uncorked participants around Myrtle Beach at various stops featuring wine tastings, beer tastings, spirits tastings, food demonstrations & sampling, and live entertainment. One Day Tasting Trolley pass is $50. Two Days is $75. Stops on the Tasting Trolley include:

• Sip ‘n Stroll around and Outdoor Grilling Expo at The Market Common

5/21 - Wine Dinner at Waterscapes Restaurant (Marina Inn Grande Dunes). Join Waterscapes for an evening of wining and dining featuring Chalone Wine’s own winemaker, Robert Cook. The evening begins with a meet and greet with Robert Cook followed by a five course dinner. Each course will be paired appropriately with a Chalone wine that enhances the flavors of the meal. 7:30 p.m. $85 per person all-inclusive

5/22 – Symphony, Sharks and Champagne: Ripley’s Aquarium; Join Ripley’s Aquarium and The Long Bay Symphony for an evening of “Symphony, Sharks, and Champagne” as part of the Coastal Uncorked Festival. Enjoy sweet delicacies, sparkling wine, and Starbucks coffee while being entertained by swimming creatures and stringed instruments. Featuring wines from Hyman Vineyards in Conway, SC and a wine tasting presented by Biltmore. Time: 7:30pm to 10pm. Tickets: $50 per person or $95 per couple.

5/23 - Coastal Uncorked Food Fight Gala. Wrap up the week with this elegant reception! Enjoy tasting stations from local restaurants and wine pairings while viewing the Coastal Uncorked Food Fight featuring six area chefs competing in an “Iron Chef” style competition. 6 p.m. Marina Inn at Grande Dunes. $75 per person
