Cleveland covers bases with junior sets
Cleveland Golf's new Junior Series clubs are available in three different sizes and have been designed for boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 14. Small is for heights of 36-46 inches (3- to 6-year-olds) and includes a driver, iron and putter. The Medium set is for heights of 47-56 inches (7- to 10-year-olds) and includes a driver, hybrid, iron, wedge and putter. Large is for heights of 57-66 inches (11- to 14-year-olds) and includes a driver, hybrid, two irons, a wedge and putter. The small and medium are right-handed only, and the large comes in either hand.
Each set includes a light, durable stand bag with a five-pocket layout, integrated hip pad and dual carry strap. Each club features similar technology found in Cleveland Golf's standard equipment and each set configuration has been modified to help fit the junior golfer into the most suitable head weights and lengths for his or her age and height. The driver, hybrid and irons have lightweight composite shafts to help reduce the overall weight which helps generate club head speed for extra distance. The forged Launcher driver features a 325-cc head, stainless steel cavity-back irons feature an oversized face and wide sole, and the putter has a simple T-alignment system. The Junior Series sets have minimum advertised prices of $119 for the Small set, $149 for Medium and $179 for Large. For more information, visit www.clevelandgolf.com/US_juniors.html.
