If you’re up on your Bible study, you’d know that we’re all sinners.
But hey, this ain’t Sunday school class, despite the tour invading the House of Blues in North Myrtle Beach on the Lord’s day of rest.
Donning masks and monikers such as Deuce and Johnny 3 Tears, Hollywood Undead is a six-man rap/rock collective, kind of like a poor man’s Linkin Park. Oddly enough, the band’s album “Swan Songs” was co-produced by Linkin Park’s Don Gilmore.
Also on the bill, Vagrant Records act Senses Fail from New Jersey is more in the punk-pop-emo vein, and the band is touring in support of its 2008 release, “Life is Not a Waiting Room.’’
Solid State Records act Haste the Day must be the saints on the bill, as they’ve been described as Christian metalcore.
And lastly, Brokencyde, is a mash-up of hip-hop, screamo and gangsta rap, with song titles such as “FreaXXX’’ and “Get Crunk.’’
The Saints and Sinners Tour 2009 comes to the House of Blues on Sunday. Doors open at 6 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $15-$18. House of Blues is at 4640 U.S. 17 South, Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach. Call 272-3000 or visit www.hob.com
