Malicious damage | On July 9, a Garden City business reported that someone cut tires, valued at $700, on three company vehicles.
Harassing phone calls | On July 11 in Murrells Inlet, a female victim said an unknown man called her business cell phone and asked to speak to her husband, who did not know who the caller was. He called three other times and did not say anything.
Breach of trust | On July 9, victim 1 of Murrells Inlet, said a subject has possession of a vehicle that is registered to victim 1 and victim 2, who are married but legally separated, and they want it back. Victim 2 is serving in Iraq. Victim 2 and the subject have been in a relationship for about two years and recently ended it. The officer called the subject, who was very uncooperative and hung up on him when he asked for the vehicle tag.
Financial transaction fraud | On July 8, a Murrells Inlet woman said someone had used her checking account to pay an electric bill and a Sprint phone bill. The electric bill was in the name of a man she had paid by check after he did some service work in her home for a large company. Sprint would not tell her whose bill her check paid.
Criminal domestic violence | On July 9 in Surfside, a victim said she and the subject were having an argument, and she started to call a relative. He grabbed her and pulled her to the ground. She was able to call 911, and he left on foot.
Harassing phone calls | On June 30 in Surfside, a man, 30, said the subject, a man, 40, called his employer and said the victim was stealing things from them. The victim stated that he has received unwanted calls on his cell phone from the subject and was assaulted by him on June 18.
