‘Premium views, privacy:’ New homes coming to Carolina Lakes in Myrtle Beach area
Construction crews along Carolina Lakes Boulevard were spotted in the beginning stages of building homes in what will be called The Grove at Carolina Lakes housing community.
“Each estate-sized homesite backs onto the fairways of the Legends Golf Resort, providing residents with premium views, privacy and convenience to championship golfing,” a press release from Lennar, the construction company in charge of the development, said.
The homes will be located at 101 Carolina Lakes Boulevard, with access to Hwy 544.
Crews are in the early stages of site preparation, meaning the homes will likely not be available for some time.
Pricing information was not immediately available. Homes listed nearby in the area range in the upper $200K to $300K.
The prices in the surrounding area are slightly lower than the median price in the Grand Strand. According to the Coastal Association of Realtors, the median sales price went up 14.2 percent in October to $360,000 for single-family homes.
