The fifth annual “Taste of Georgetown,” 12:30-3:30 p.m. Saturday, will comprise 19 restaurants and one service organization serving samples, all on Front Street in Georgetown, and in Francis Marion Park, at Front and Broad streets.
This feast benefits the Family Justice Center of Georgetown County, based at 1530 Highmarket St., Georgetown ( www.familyjusticecenter.org), which helps people affected by domestic violence.
Admission is free, and food tickets are $1 each, or 23 for $20.
Also, the Fourclosures, Highliners, Hi Lo Duo, and Jessie Wilson Jr. and Friends, will take turns providing live music, and everyone’s encouraged to vote in the people’s choice award for Best Restaurant.
