Halloween is fast approaching, so I had no trouble scaring up a list of ghostly happenings to keep the little ones busy for the next few weeks. Adults, fear not. My list includes some ghoulish fun for you, too:
Every Friday and Saturday through Nov. 1, beware of the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, where roaming zombies will come out at dusk as part of the annual Boardwalk Fright Nights. Admission is free. There also will be discounts on rides and attractions and free concerts (Oct. 25 and 31 only).
On Saturday, The Market Common is holding its annual Wine Festival from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Valor Park. Admission is free. You’ll need a sampling glass for wine samples ($5), and you’ll need to purchase sampling tickets. There also will be food sampling from The Market Common restaurants, live music and beer for purchase.
