Theater of the Republic's production of "Jesus Christ Superstar'' continues tonight through Sunday at the Main Street Theater, 337 Main Street, Conway. First Saturday Art Walk, the first Saturday of every month, Historic District - Downtown Conway. Pick up your Art Walk map at the Conway Visitor Center on 3rd Ave. or at any of the galleries. Participating galleries include Art by Marina, My View Beyond, Moegan's Fine Art Gallery, Gifu Art Exchange, J. Adam's Gallery, Blue Wave Beads and Tortoise & Hare. Opening receptions and art demonstrations will be going on throughout the day. All events are free and open to the public.
Saxophone Ensemble Concert, 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Recital Hall, Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts, Coastal Carolina University, Conway. CCU Saxophone Ensemble performs a concert featuring classical, jazz, and various other musical styles. Free and open to the public.

"Portfolios: (Spring) Senior Student Exhibition" Opening Reception, 5-7 p.m., May 1, RebeccaRandall Bryan Art Gallery, CCU, Conway. This exhibition will feature works from graduating students and is free and open to the public.
Uncastables "Broadway", 7:30 p.m., May 1, Black Box Theater - Coastal Carolina University. A Broadway improve-style revue performed by CCU's student/faculty improvisational troupe. Will contain adult themes may not be suitable for children. Free and open to the public.
22nd Annual Rivertown Jazz & Arts Festival, 10 a.m. - 10 p.m., May 3, downtown Conway. This year's event will celebrate jazz, at, and cuisine. Music in the alley starts at 10 a.m. and Music on Main starts at 5 p.m. Art on Third also starts at 10 a.m. and will include various works for sale by local artists. Local cuisine will be available all day. This event is free and open to the public.
Bluegrass on the Waccamaw Private Concert with Jeanette Williams, 6 p.m., May 9, Old Peanut Warehouse, downtown Conway. $25 tickets includes chicken bog dinner. Seating is limited. For more information and tickets call 248-5399

'Round the Fourth Celebration, 10 a.m. - 10 p.m., June 28, downtown Conway. Conway's tribute to the Fourth of July, featuring live entertainment, arts and crafts, food vendors, and a business expo. Country singer Rhett Akins is slated to perform, according to www.pollstar.com.
