Hunting season for alligators wraps up in S.C.

The gators have been skinned and the stories swapped at Cordray's Venison Processing, wrapping up South Carolina's first alligator hunting season since 1964.

Calendar: Oct. 9

Oct. 26 | The North Strand Soil & Power Squadron will offer a one-day safe boating class at the Little River United Methodist Church on Mineola Ave. in Little River from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost of materials is $35 plus $5 for sharing a book. Coffee, donuts and light lunch will be provided. A certificate will be given upon passing the course. For more information call 843-399-1342 or e-mail charlie34@sc.rr.com.
