Front-page photograph insensitive to mourner

I find your front-page picture of a mother’s private moment [“Surfers say goodbye,” June 14] extremely appalling. You are very insensitive. Put yourself in her shoes (which you can't).

A better picture would have been of the surfers, not someone's personal grief. This makes the paper no different then the National Inquirer. You should be ashamed
